Hayfever sufferers in Edinburgh should track all three pollen types from March through August.
Tree pollen here is dominated by birch, alder and oak, with grass led by ryegrass and cocksfoot and weeds by nettle.
Tree pollen typically peaks in late April. Grass counts are highest from late June. A similar profile to the rest of southern Scotland with a tree peak slightly later than England.
For the wider regional view see Dumfries, Galloway, Lothian and Borders.
